Security
Where your data lives, and who can see it.
Plain answers, each one about how Tieloom actually runs today. Tieloom holds no security certification yet, so this page claims none.
Where it lives
- In a PostgreSQL database on Microsoft Azure, in the Central US region.
- Public network access to the database is off. Only our own servers, on the same private network, can reach it, and Tieloom's database login cannot open any other product's database.
- Every page and every API request from outside travels over HTTPS. Calls from Damaruka reach Tieloom inside the same private network.
- The database is backed up by Azure and backups are kept for 7 days.
Who can see it
- Only the people you add to your workspace.
- Owners add and remove people and choose their seat: owner, staff, or read only.
- Read only seats can see everything and change nothing.
How people sign in
- With Google, or with an eight digit code sent by email that works for ten minutes, in the browser that asked for it.
- Wrong codes are limited per address and per visitor each day, so guessing does not work.
- An address that signs in with Google keeps signing in with Google.
API keys
- A key is shown once, when you make it. Tieloom keeps only a fingerprint of it (a SHA-256 hash) and its last four characters.
- A workspace can hold up to 20 keys; remove one and it stops working at once.
Recordings and health information
- Call recordings stay in Damaruka, which took the call. Tieloom keeps a link to them.
- Tieloom does not hold health information covered by HIPAA. A clinic that keeps health privacy on in Damaruka sends nothing to Tieloom.
Taking it with you, or deleting it
- Export everyone in a workspace as a CSV at any time.
- An owner can delete a workspace by typing its name. People, timelines, tasks, keys and members go at once; copies in backups age out within 7 days.
Found a problem?
Write to augusta@4ugusta.agency with what you found and how to see it. The person who reads it can change the code.
